Not surprisingly, there are those on this forum that are very affected by questions like these so I'm not going to start another negative thread, but I take wisdom from the following statement from a 'Daily Wisdom for Men" devotional series:
"Bad things happen to Christians (i.e., losing games) just like they do to anyone else, but none of them cancel God's love for you. The rain falls on the good and bad alike, but it's God's rain. He is still in control. He uses the troubles and trials He allows to help you trust Him more."
"That's cold comfort at times because the hard things are still hard, the hurt is still painful and deep--but that's the place to dig in and hold fast to His hope. No matter how bad it gets, He is making all things new. Jesus suffered to make you a new creation, and His resurrection power will restore the world when He returns"
"Without Jesus, there is only despair, a nagging realization that none of it means anything. But if He is your refuge, you live in hope."
These players aren't blaming God for lost games. God is there place of safety no matter the outcome.
