The end of the year goal was to see who was crowned NC. The debate was it came down to a beauty contest after a Bowl Game. Then they came up with a supposed formula to get the top 2 teams to play for a NC. Then somewhere along the lines it made more sense to have 4 teams play for a NC because we may not be deciding the right top 2. Then a team who didn't make a conference championship was moved into a top 4 slot now having an advantage by playing one less game.
Now comes the real beauty of CFB. We've expanded to 12 teams and NO ONE is discussing who the top 4 teams are, they are ALL arguing over who should be in the #9 and #10 spot.
We're accomplishing our goal. At least we are discovering that the Bowl games are useless now. Best part now is we can expand further and argue over who should be in the #13 and #14 slot.
