I rarely miss a game.
The Penn State fans did show up. Nebraska had a ton too. Washington had some, not as many as the other two.
The only team that didn't show up was Maryland, but then they really haven't had a history of good football so I don't think the Maryland alums in So Cal are going to come to their games.
We had 44,000 announced for Nebraska, probably 20,000 were Cornhusker fans.
The problem isn't the visitors, it's the home team. Win, and fans show up. Lose, and you can hear the chants of the visitors over the eight claps.
It had nothing to do with the string of excuses you posted (fires, etc.) U$C got 63,000 to show up to watch a slaughter of Missouri State on Labor Day weekend.
