Seems silly now. We would have been better off hiring DF as interim and then having a whole year to recruit a new HC. Who could have argued with that?
Instead we likely delayed any possible recovery by another 2 years.
Ah, well. Just another calamity of errors. Still hopeful DF can do something but it's not looking great. He needs to run off 3 straight wins, right now.
