If UCLA football is ever relevant again, I will appreciate
the hell out of it.
As someone in his late 70s, I don't have a lot of seasons
left.
Some years ago, after too many like last year's and like the
current one is shaping up to be, Brett Hundley started
his first game vs. Rice, and scored on a long run on
the first play of the game. Hallelujah.
The Bruins went on to have winning records with Hundley
at quarterback. (Remember UCLA-usc, 2012?)
Those of you in your 30s, 40s, and 50s should have
plenty of future opportunities to see the Bruins back in
some form of success. But for others, not so.
