My opinions are not based solely on what I have encountered in media reports. I had reservations about Chip before he even stepped foot on campus due to reports I was given directly from someone I know who is closely connected to the program at Oregon. Based on what I was told directly from people I know and trust who are closely connected to the program at UCLA, the Oregon reports were merely the tip of the iceberg. The subsequent media reports simply confirmed what I already knew to be true.
