Media are not people with first hand knowledge. They gather second hand information like thoughts, quotes, impressions, biases and opinions from others and then are paid to weave those into a story that will appeal to a specific user. They are looking for clicks, subscribers, recognition, a boost to their signal. They aren't looking for truth.
If you believe what you hear or see in the media, even if it's on video, you're doing it wrong.
Nothing in your post was real, my friend. You imagine a Chip world, a Chip person, a Chip scenario and then you seek out confirming bits of information to confirm these while disregarding bits of information (like me) that conflict with them. This is confirmation bias. It's got nothing whatsoever to do with truth.
