He was very good in his press conference.
I am very pleased with him being our head coach. I liked Kelly as our coach for a long time, believing he was a brilliant offensive mind and great for developing a team. Unfortunately NIL changed it so recruiting is more important than it used to be....
I think Foster has a great personality. I was a student when he played at UCLA... was awesome. I think he will recruit very well if we can get proper alumni support... at least we don't have the big arrogant stiff Kelly to turn away support.
And of course the hire cost us less money than other options -- ability to keep a lot of our position coaches that did do a nice job. We just had a big stiff as our head coach turning away any NIL.
Foster is a legendary player... the recruits will love him. I am pumped by This hire. So happy we didn't get another Stiff like David Shaw or some old dude.
