The only people who don’t like the direction of college sports are old farts. Sorry. CFB has NEVER been more profitable. Media rights and ratings are through the roof. Very few people under 40 care if the players get paid. Many see it as a GREAT thing. They got to monetize their skill sets. I really don’t agree, but you know what, I don’t fcuking care if the kids are being paid. It affects me exactly zero. Do I care if they are driving 2024 Lambos or a 1985 Corolla? Not one iota.
Football players (and hoopers) have not been student athletes in the way you believe in decades. There have always been 100 handshakes, free this, free that. Now it’s just legal and taxable!
I dont reserve any rights. I will react how I see fit. But what I don’t want to hear is someone like you (who hates college sports) tell me how to react.
If you don’t like college sports why should you impose your worldview on others who DO care about college sports generally, and UCLA specifically?
