You completely missed my point. The point is to evade Title IX implications not exacerbate them. As I said below, why should football subsidize everything else? The only reason is Title IX.
Your point about academic is just a red-herring. The point of a university is academics, not athletics. But yeah, there are dozens of administrators that should be fired because they are unnecessary for the proper functioning of an academic institution. That’s a different discussion though. One could always raise tuition to fund these programs you reference. Do we want tuition $$ or more state funding to fund women’s water polo or men’s diving?
