He was aggressive, belligerent, disrespectful, and probably the angriest soul I've seen online. He was on a rampage, looking for someone to attack about anything that he did not like at any moment and go to all out war with them. He was insufferable.
Then I met him in real life. He turns out to be a painfully shy, quiet person who was not at all looking for a conflict. I used to get into serious fights with him under my old handle, LBB, so I was expecting a rabid dog attack, I don't think he even looked at me in the eye, and me, I'm a nice person who doesn't look for conflicts online or offline, so I shrugged it off and minded my own business.
The gap between OldBriun and the person who uses that hanlde on BZ are two very very very different people.
