Old Bruin did suffer from some issues. I remember a lot of this stuff. He was highly opinionated and stubborn. But he was such a mainstay for almost 20 years here. I hardly ever agreed with any of his political or religious views but I admired his loyalty to UCLA. But as UCLABB pointed out, sometimes you can be too loyal, haha. I remember he took the Howland firing really super hard. He was depressed over that.
