Old Bruin is very opinionated and fiercely devoted to his causes like UCLA and the Catholic Church, which can make him a little tough to handle. I remember when a USC football player was seriously injured in a training accident, and in a thread of sympathy in Bruinzone he posted something like “Why are we talking about a Trojan?.” But Old Bruin is a STEM PhD with a nice family, so it’s not like he’s not a regular guy.
