Yeah, who wants the greatest coach of all time. Parcells did it. The benefit is that when Parcells left, he left great scouting departments and staffers at every place he left. Thr Falcons are a bad franchise; they could use an enema. I’d take Demitroff back before McKay.

I thought Blank wanted to win. The chasm between Raheem Morris and Bill Belicheck is profound. Hell, the Falcons could have hired him when they hired Arthur Smith since he was interm and they passed. Morris was also one of the most incompetent coaches in history at Tampa. He was like 15-30. If you’re gonna hire a retread, go with the guy who hoisted 6 Lombardi’s.

The issue is clearly age. The NFL is getting younger. How else is it possible that Pete Carrol and Bill Belicheck are without HC jobs and Brian Callahan, Raheem Morris and Canales (although to be fair NFW would BB or PC take that job) are hired as head coaches during the same cycle.

And if you do t like BB; Mike freaking Vrabel is available.
