If so, you must not have been paying attention for the past few decades.
I'm not much following developments in the new AAA industry, but I have the impression that Cronin says we're even losing big in the basketball NIL competition.
I think it's time for UCLA to disown these AAA franchises. Heck, the football franchise would probably enjoy better support if renamed to Los Angeles Bruins or Pasadena Bruins. (Of course, UCLA would never allow "Bruins"; they'd have to at least subtly change that part, too.)
