Probably nNo one, outside the inner circle, knows whether the Bruins have or are trying to raise enough money to bring in another 5. I do believe they are seriously looking into the possibilities, but again it all depends on whether they can get or have enough money to do so.
There are four names I'm now hearing; Duke Brennan, Jaxon Kohler, KC Ibekwe, and now Keba Keita. Any of them, with the exception of Ibekwe, would, IMO, be great gets. I think all of those three could actually start for the Bruins. Ibekwe would be a solid get, IMO, and probably destined for a support roll on this Bruin team. Of course, there may be others being considered and we just haven't heard of them.
I don't know how long a shot all this is because of the money thing. And then maybe Cronin made promises to Booker and anyone brought in, like Ibekwe, would only be coming in to help and not get anywhere near starter or significant rotation minutes. The one thing that is certain, IMO, is that the Bruins need help at the 5. I think most would agree on that. Whether they decide to or can bring in someone is anyone's guess right now. I guess we'll all see.
As far as Bilodeau goes, I've stopped trying to figure out what's going to happen in college basketball. Everything in college basketball is so fluid right now, conventions being overturned, and the money is so huge that all the old parameters, paradigms, and conventional wisdoms are pretty much all out the window. So I wouldn't be surprised at whatever happens with Bilodeau and with his immediate future.
