Kris is a really good guy - very natural. He is an optimist and loves to interact with his readers/listeners. I like him very much and he has reasons for all his takes - and if you comment to him about something you take differently he will engage with you and he will think about it all. Really great guy but yes, the eternal optimist for sure. And he's been inside the game and the program all his life and is very knowledgeable.
From all I've heard, Mick is a nice and real guy - away from the basketball court. But his coaching training and style when he's engaged is to demand perfection and to. be very demonstrative, He and Hurley are friends and know one another and both approach the job the same way. His on-court behavior not to mention his language is difficult to take coming from the man sitting in John Wooden's seat but I remember when Ben Howland come to UCLA and his behavior was called into question by many but the father of one of the players commented that the things people were pointing to were just not how Ben was with those inside the program.
