angles are very important as we all know.
I saw it on television - initial shot it was hard for me to tell. Replay had a higher angle, also iirc more from mid- than far-end of the court and that made it obvious Jamerson was chasing from behind and did go to block the ball. Took a bit to recognize that he contacted him with his body.
Face off under the basket immediately after Steven was just standing his ground against the MSU player who had bounced up and got in his face.
I think Cronin over-reacted badly and a very bad part of that was he did so in a clear fit of temper. He wasn't thinking; he was just reacting. But imo it's very possible for different people to draw different conclusions watching a play from different angles. Another reason why it behooves Cronin or any coach to wait for the replay before flying off the handle about a play, especially one occurring down the court from where the coach is standing or sitting
