Referring to the nice things he had said about Jamerson, I would have liked to hear Cronin say that knowing Jamerson as being everything good about college basketball, that even if he thought Jamerson had taken a cheap shot at the MSU player he should have also known he probably didn't do that. And if he could get to that awareness quick enough that he should have stayed loyal to his player and protected him. And, that if he couldn't do that then he knew he had lost the better part of himself to the moment and he needed to take a beat and calm down and gather himself rather than just react. And in the future he needs to work on getting ahead of himself in order to avoid future embarrassing and damaging moments. That he's aware that growth on his part is called for. But that's not to take anything away from his well thought out and articulated apology.
