yes, but was a breakthrough game for him in terms of his shooting - not great yet but much better though his assists to turnover ratio was down.
But to me of at least equal - and I think more - importance has been the vast improvement in his defense. He's gone from nothing on defense to a real value on that end.
MH's stats on players' contributions to victories (a bit below) are very good, help get a stand-back peg on how each player is contributing to team success. But I do agree with Kris Johnson who says that Dent's overall most important contribution, besides high level defense, lies in assists and not turning the ball over, Guy is capable of 15 assists a game. When he does that, EVERYONE plays a role and everyone benefits.
He needs to score enough to keep defenses honest when defending him but this team has a number of guys who can score: Bilodeau, Clark, Perry, Brown, Dailey (once he breaks out of his slump again),as well as Dent himself. If he focuses his game on offense to sharing the ball, running the team motion and offense and gets his shots off return passes as well, obviously, as the open drive to a layup (as opposed to a floater), he'll be most effective for the team.
(About the floater: Bilodeau has a killer step back and Clark nails that move also but uses it more judiciously, waiting for the right spot. That floater of Dent's is a much more difficult shot - and one he misses a whole lot)
Game was very encouraging, his defense even more so. How he progresses in the team offense is the next and final step I think.
