seems to me in the men's tournament there are significant doubts about every team - except Connecticut and, to a slightly lesser extent, Houston. In the women's tournament it's even less confusing.
There is South Carolina - which dominated all last season before being upset in the tournament and which has dominated all this season and is further fueled by the memory of last year.
There are really good teams out there - UConn with a healthy Bueckers now, LSU, Iowa of course with Caitlin Clark, UCLA with a healthy Betts, Stanford - but all alone at the top is South Carolina.
