Most of these types of kids are going the academic activist, NGO or smaller non-profit route, where this experience is considered a badge of honor. I know many of these people as my wife is an antiracist activist, university lecturer and artist. They aren't worried about getting passed over by Goldman Sachs. The only reason they'd want to work at a place like that is to destroy it from within.
