I agree with the tweet. Without "mass immigration," there wouldn't be any voices representing Gaza. There are none in US government, and I am glad to see the pro-Gaza points of view represented on college campuses.
In the 60's, there was virtually no representation for the anti-war side in Congress. College students spoke up, and the right lamented about college education. Reagan called Berkeley beatniks, radicals and filthy speech advocates" having become more to do "with rioting, with anarchy" than "academic freedom." The echoes are loud and clear. Not this shit again, but here we are in 2024.
Today, nobody defends the Vietnam war. But the right is at it again bitching about "anti-Semitism" on college campuses. Neo-Nazis whining about anti-Semitism was not on my bingo card. LOLOLOLOLOL.
