has been coming from the outside, and especially brought into the scene by the police doing their usual police bullsh*t. I have no doubt that some protesters have gone overboard and acted overly aggressive, which is what happens whenever a large group of people get together around an issue that matters top them at an emotional level, whether it's a sports event or a rock concert, or as the case may be, indiscriminate killing of tens of thousands of innocent people with arms that we've been providing as a nation.
But the "then go home and come back the next day if needed" part? Nah, you lost me there. People who do this don't do it because they have some time to kill and wanna maybe hang out with some friends. I don't think any protest that actually mattered to people doing the protesting has ever worked that way.
Maybe what you're suggesting is that they should not take it all that seriously, just make their voice heard and go back to business as usual?
