I think Slate is right but again this is showing just how bad the people who still support Trump are.
At the end of today they had the moron from the Enquirer on and the DA teased what would come tomorrow, emails, texts etc that prove Trump was paying the Enquirer to buy and kill negative stories about him and that Trump was actively involved in. They also said they had Trump, ON TAPE, talking about the plot and offering suggestions on how to do it. In one case they specifically have him weighing in on what to do about McDougal.
And the Trump supporters STILL think it's all made up, or they say they do. Because at the end of the day they don't want to admit they were wrong about him, and he hates the same people they do so they want him in office
