For Those Who Care To Read, I Had An Awful Personal Experience Before

the kickoff.

As the game was ready to start, it was confirmed that UCLA would not be on the B10 Network in Gotham City. That was frightful enuf, but then I found I was unable to hook into the UCLA Radio network. But, then it happened............

All I could get was the SD State Radio broadcast. As such, for 3 hours I went thru a dozen barfbags, "learning" that:

UCLA was afraid of SD State;

SD State in the final minutes was right back in the game after trailing by 18 and not making it to the UCLA red zone even once;

the SD State coaches were livid with the officiating, et nauseum.

And, with Newman pounding them into a pulp, the concluding asslick from the SD State Radio homers was that SD State proved they belonged on a football field with UCLA.

I would note that a regulation college game lasts 60 mins and UCLA was able to easily cover the spread in that time frame, disproportionately or not.

And, while I could see nothing, while having my eardrums turned into a mushy compost heap, I'm still fine with this team putting up a bowl-bid 7-5 record to drive memories of last yr's 3-9 further into the past.

We should extend to a 3-0 home record next week to a pissed-to-hell Purdon't team who lost an impossible double overtime loss to Wake Forest this afternoon. So, 7-5 is still cool? Yup, when you look at the schedule and consider the remaining zits (fewer penalties but still 8 for 70 yds) which all aren't going to be solved with a brand new regimen.
