You say I'm clueless, then please do explain what it is that you are so enlightened about that you believe I am missing?
It is an objective fact that the food options at the Rose Bowl suck, and pale in comparison to virtually every other major sports venue. Like everything else at the Rose Bowl, they are largely stuck in the same sort of snack bar fare slop they've been serving throughout the venue's decades of demise. Hell, even the food at CAL's stadium blows away the offerings in Pasadena.
And yeah, I know tailgating this, tailgating that . . . but you know what big guy, not everyone has either the time or interest in adding several hours to the gameday experience. So it would be nice to have the option of getting something moderately based on actual food with some nutritional value, particularly when they are charging about as much for them nachos as you pay for dish of something far better at a half decent restaurant.
So again, tell me what I missing in not fawning over the extraordinary effort they are putting into rebranding the same crappy "loaded" nachos as the game day experience's elevated food options.
