1) He has an O-line, giving him precious passing time as well as opening up seams for our run game; and
2) He's lifted in the back field by 3 impactful RBs in Newman, Woods and the freshman Thomas.
Moreover, Nico is more fluid when UCLA goes to tempo on O, and he's got the receivers and tempo to make that work.
UCLA owns the respective run games, 123 yards to only 34!
Amd. while Sag-it-to-me has flashed his beau coup arm, that's a real limp he's carrying into the halftime locker room which will limit him in the 2H and give UCLA more shots at him if Chesney decides to go that route.
UCLA gets the 2H kick and hopefully we can get to a two-possession lead before kal can play to the home crowd.
