I'm delighted. All the reports put his passing accuracy downfield in question. But after the early minutes when they had him standing there and throwing up the middle and getting them tipped, he's really calmed down and has been terrific.
UCLA writers all picked the Bruins thinking a close game but the reason they gave was the experience of our coaches compared to theirs and that big turnaround in this game just showed what that means for a team. Cal was effective early but dead in the water since - great second quarter for the Bru9ins!
