Sure it's relevant. No one pulls like Duke or KY for BB in the preseason or OSU in FB.
To wish UCLA who at its best in the last 50 years was consistently in the middle teens in a program that is located in a large city to top teams in crappy towns is absurd.
No large city draws those types of crowds in the preseason because it is the nature of having options when living in a large town.
Criticize UCLA all you like but thinking even at our best we would ever draw 80,000 to a FB spring game is absurd. It doesn't happen to any program in our demographic.
