I was in the Coliseum for the game where Dick Butkus laid Gabriel out cold on the turf with a blindside sack. Gabriel eventually came to and left the game but he was never the same after that. He used to plant himself in the pocket but after the hit he got jittery feet and his effectiveness waned.
