In today's presser, he reminded everyone that the best part of football is football. That he wants to coach football until the day he dies. And that he wants to be happy. He noted that cfb has changed dramatically since he took over the Ucla job in 2018. Covid, transfer portal, college playoff, conference realignment and NIL have radically changed the landscape of cfb. He hasn't coached a position group since 2008. He wasn't going to leave Ucla for just any place. He left for the buckeyes because one of his life long friends is there. He also has a legitimate chance to win an NC.
