Ya, I think they every offseason, if the rulemakers think there's something they could do to improve the quality of the game, they do it. You think they hold it in reserve? Like, they've been waiting to put in the 2 minute warning to improve the game for .... how long?
Ya, they stopped stopping the clock, so they could speed up the game play so they could fit in more commercials. Like when they added the 2 minute warning.
The 2 minute warning is added b/c it's just another commercial break.
