Look at that second recruiting class, pre NIL. Hired his old washed up buddies like Azzinaro and Pellum. Disastrous first 3 years. Chip never cultivated nor earned any real support. Regularly thumbed his nose at fans. He should have been fired after year 3.
To say he left because of meanie fans is truly idiotic, which is par for the course for you. He'd been trying to quit for a while, because he knew the jig was up.
