Do you suppose that tripling the price of the product (12.5% compound annual increase) would diminish demand, maybe just a skosh? Do you think 11am kickoffs against crappy teams during the non-con, or Friday night kickoffs during LA rush hour may have been factors? What about Jarmond's decision to replace Michigan on the schedule with FCS lightweights?
Oh, and what of the Covid pandemic and its immediate aftermath? Suppose some people decided to avoid large crowds?
No question more wins would've helped attendance, but do you believe Chip Kelly's won/loss performance was the only, or even the major factor? Nope. Chip's team beat highly ranked Washington and Utah back to back and attendance at the following games didn't budge.
Always follow the money. Attendance is down because the cost is up, way up. That's on the stupidity of Ucla and Jarmond, not the coach.
