Ryan Day has lost 3 regular season games in 5 years and there was LOUD talk about firing him this year because all 3 of those losses have been to the Wolverines.
Chip isn't in Columbus to beat Penn State or Wisconsin or Rutgers or even UCLA. His job, his ONLY job, is to BEAT MICHIGAN.
Of course, comparing Chip the OC to Chip the Head Coach is apples and oranges. Chip the OC devised an offense that scored 7 points against Utah, Arizona State, and Cal, plus 10 more against Arizona; while Chip the Head Coach was 35-34 in 6 seasons with one bowl victory (in the last 60 years, only Rick Neuheisel has a worse record).
