Timing was terrible to hire someone away, so I'm actually not that surprised.
I hope it works out, but Jarmond has some pr work to do to convince the donors that this is a great hire.
It may be the best hire that UCLA could do at this time. I'm sure the 11 people interviewed had more experience than Foster, and I can't believe that money was a problem, given that we didn't have to buy out Chipper, but this job right now was a tough sell.
It's tough to be a Bruin football fan these days.
