Jarmond extended Chip twice and increased the buyout. Had we not extended him last year, he had no buyout remaining. He could have been fired at ZERO cost (although I think the timing was late December). Regardless you make the decision to fire and contact JTF or others. UCLA shouldn’t be outbid by UW at that point, especially for JTF who I think wanted to be in LA. Hell, Saban hadn’t even retired at that point.
