I listened to Emmitt Smith on a radio interview recently.

He brought up an interesting point to me at least. Was talking about the nervousness prior to the game and how nervous you are going into a Super Bowl and the amount of energy you spend on that so early. He said by his 3rd Super Bowl, he didn't have it anymore. The gist of it is, he was commenting that you can get so jacked up going into the game and then towards the end of the game, you're actually physically and mentally exhausted. He used the Atlanta Falcons game as an example for this where Atlanta who had this huge lead then looked drained and New England had that energy at the end to finish. That came from their past experience.

I didn't really watch enough to say which team is better on paper, but obviously Kansas City has an advantage as far as SB experience and shouldn't really have as much for nerves going into this one. I think it just may come down to SF staying even keeled early and then just finish strong. I would think they have a really good shot of winning if they can do that.
