Great match. ND uncharacteristically missed a # of fh's he's normally make. Remember that ND came into the tourney with a right wrist injury. Ask Andre Agassi (sp?) and Dominic Thiem how profound a wrist injury on your racket hand can mess with your game.
That said, JS put ND under tremendous pressure the whole match. He deserves a lot of credit for the win.
There were a number of points where I thought js was going to get a cross court fh or bh over that went into the tape/net. So his win could have been even more convincing.
One area of the match where JS wasn't good, imo, was going inside out or up the line with his bh. He probably needs to clean that up if he wants to beat either DM or SZ.
