I said in the discussions I didn’t think DeBoer had the edge to him that Bama fans wd want. My suggestion was Lanning, didn’t work out. Then Huepel. He’s got three years at Tennessee, was successful before there, and has been successful at Tenn. imo he’d have been a good hire.
We will see.
Re Norvell, someone mentioned he’d been at Memphis. I’d forgotten that. But it was my perception that he coached circles around Chip.
