Meantime, I think your fears (and my hopes) wrt to FT are well-grounded. He's actually got some very marketable credentials, the cover of his book being a pic of himself advising, iirc, Sam Ervin at the Watergate hearings. I have no doubt he'll comport himself well (ala RR) at GOP debates, especially with what should be a very solid policy background derived from his years in the Senate.
