I do not know when they will be finished with the renovations.
Barona Creek is my current resort favorite. I liked Oak Valley but I need to see it again. Otherwise, I think the So Cal courses are nice but not what I would term must play. I would include in that Pelican Hill, Trump, Aviara, Robinson Ranch, Oak Creek and Lost Canyon. Some more or less worth the price (Trump way not worth the price - Robinson Ranch way worth the price). I don't think any of them is on the must play list of public courses though like Pasatiempo in Santa Cruz or La Purisima in Lompoc.
Oak Quarry is a goal this year. I'll give my opinion after I play.
Play Barona though. Great design and conditions. Just way off in the middle of nowhere.
