Many observers were critical of the Karl Dorrell hire in Football.
Their contention has been that a couple of years experience as a position coach in the NFL is insufficient for a major college Head Coach. And that UCLA has the gravitas beyond having to "learn on the job".
Unfortunately, these critics appear to have been correct.
