After all those years of attending UCLA gymnastics matches, I had lots of Mohini videotape footage, and just wanted to give some credit to someone that has already helped keep UCLA at the elite level.
Didn't know about Tasha's loi, but will now root for her even more. However, I'm just guessing that Mohini might be more likely to make the team (which works for me in that I don't have any photos of Tasha that are legally mine). But you're right: I should have known about Tasha.
Also, I knew Pamela from when I worked on Baywatch, so her connection with Mohini was a good excuse to post a nice promotional still that I thought the boys might appreciate.
By the way, I like your point about using "alum" over "ex" or "former." In the future I will try to reserve those latter terms for Henry Bibby, Ken Norton jr., and their traitorous ilk.
So, in closing, I appreciate your offering of pertinent info, and of course, props go out to both Mohini AND Tasha. But "poor reporting?" That sounds so harsh. Maybe it wasn't all-inclusively thorough, but it wasn't inaccurate, or negative. I was just trying to laud one successful Bruin star. No offense was intended to Tasha.
Thanks again for catching me up with reality.
Go Tasha and Mohini!! (Blue and) GOLD in 2004.
