Surging Mets 3B Todd Zeile intends to retire and spend more time with his family after this season, but one of his agents, Seth Levinson, says, "Not if I can help it." Zeile, who turns 39 on September 9, is one of the game's true gentlemen, and Levinson believes the 16-year veteran still has much to offer both on and off the field. Neither the player nor agent would be financially motivated; Zeile is earning $1 million this season, well below the major league average of $2.49 million. "As long as he loves the game and is productive, I have a chance to twist his arm," Levinson says. . . .
