The Angels pounded ex-trojan Barry Zito in Oakland last night. They won 12-2, getting 9 earned runs off Zito in 4 innings. Ex-Bruin Troy Glaus baked Zito in the first with a two-run homer. The only sad part: The A's have 3 ex-Bruins (Karros, Melhuse, Byrnes) that had to suffer because of a Trojan meltdown.
Kidding aside -- Zito is one of the best lefties in baseball... just NOT last night.
