The turning point, IMO, was at the 73-72 mark when the refs horribly messed up and called Veasley for a blocking foul when it was so damn obvious McCarville went over the back on her. I mean, she literally CRASHED right into her and pushed her to the ground!!! That should've been McCarville's 5th foul. Instead she shoots two free throws to give Minnesota a 3-point lead at 75-72. Should've been Veasley with two free throws.

With McCarville gone, we would've won the game, IMO. Instead she goes 8-8 from the free throw line.

Whalen for Minnesota scored over 30 points in her first game back from injury. Nikki Blue also scored a career-high 33 points for us before fouling out.

UCLA finishes 17-13 on the season. We get two blue-chippers next year, McDonald's All-American center Lindsay Plumier and guard Lauren Pedersen.
