men's and women's swimming/diving... they're both ranked in the top 5 nationally, preseason.
Also....
Their women's gymnastics also got a #6 preseason ranking. They also have a men's gymnastics team which was a top 10 team last year.
Women's basketball is also #6, but with Tennessee and UConn, an NCAA title is probably out of the question for every other team in the country.
Actually, in men's tennis longtime coach Dick Gould announced his retirement in October, so this will be his last season. With 17 NCAA titles under his belt already, you can betcha his players will give it their all to win one in his last year. Longtime associate head coach John Whitlinger will take over, so there looks to be no dropoff either.
Don't forget, their baseball made the CWS finals last year, losing to Rice.
Their track & field teams figure to place in the top 15 in the NCAA Championships, but probably won't actually win it.
Heck, even their women's crew team finished #3 in the NCAA Championships last year! And their co-ed sailing team is currently #3 in the country. Yes, co-ed sailing. They also finished in 2nd place nationally last year in... synchronized swimming, losing the title to Ohio State.
