I think Taylor Tinsley is thought to be our top pitcher, and
will go later tonight vs. Texas. She wasn't as brilliant last
year as her incoming press clippings.
As I mentioned, Kaitlyn Terry, who started Game No. 1, is
a freshman. She lasted 1.1 innings.
Jada Cecil relieved her and has held the Turtles to just one
more run, but has walked 4 and only has 3 strikeouts
over 6 innings.
We have the nation's top player for he past 2 years coming
in next season: a pitcher, Addisen Fisher, Bend. OR.
A national championship team must have 2 top notch pitchers,
even if the rest of the line-up is solid offensively. This is the
first time in a long time that I have concerns about our pitching.
